As a farm kid and current farmer, I can tell you there is a special feeling every farmer and rancher has when they are out in nature. More than just enjoying the wide-open spaces, farmers and ranchers work with nature to produce essential food for families across the globe.

Dear Dave, My wife and I are in our late twenties, and we have two kids. Our combined income is about $110,000 a year, but we have $70,000 in loans on two cars, plus about $15,000 in credit card debt.

Dear Dave, My wife and I have always attended church, and we have always tithed. Over the last few months, we have come to the decision it is time for us to find a place to worship that is a little more involved in the community.

Week of May 8, 2022 As a life-long farmer, I tend to mark the passing of time in growing seasons. Spring is typically a time for new beginnings, but in the past few years it has been a time of adversity for many Nebraskans.

Gini Corbin did a much better job filling this space with Pioneer Memorial Rest Home’s Happenings on the Hill news than I will. But more than one person has asked me what I’m going to do with the back page of the paper now that our nursing home is closed and I guess, here you have it.

They say you become a lot like the people you spend time with. If that’s true, I hope I absorbed as much as I possibly could from the crowd I hung around this past weekend. For the first time since 2019, we got to hold the Nebraska Press Association Convention in person.
