Dear Dave, We just started teaching our seven-year-old about money. He’s very eager to learn, and he seems to be grasping the basic ideas quickly. He’s young, though, and of course he makes mistakes from time to time.

Dear Dave, I made a resolution to start following your plan in 2021. I talked to my parents about this, and while they like some parts of your teaching, they don’t think living on a budget is necessary if you make good money. They also said budgeting is extremely difficult. Are they right?

Teamwork makes the dream work. The Christmas tree and Santa did not do well with the storm last week. Willard Boyer and Darrell Leibhart get it all set back up.

We hope everyone had a very Merry Christmas. Despite not being able to spend it with family, I would say that the residents had a good one too. We have kept busy with our daily activities this past week. We had our Christmas spirit dress up week and yours truly forgot to take pictures.

Dear Dave, I’ve been following your plan, but recently I experienced a medical emergency. I’m about halfway through Baby Step 2 and paying off my debts using the debt snowball system. Considering the circumstances, should I stop doing the debt snowball for now?
