Dear Dave, I don’t like admitting this, but I absolutely hate my job. Last year I almost cashed out part of my 401(k) to start my own business or open a franchise, and doing something like this is still on my mind. Considering how I feel, do you think this would be a good idea?

Jan. 29, 2021 - The first session of the 107th Legislature has convened. First sessions are long, ninety legislative days. Bills introduced but not passed in the first session carry over into the second session. The current end of the session is scheduled for the 10th of June.

Happenings on the Hill

Happy February! One of our nurses said she was happy to see January gone, as it meant one less winter month. We have lots of fun things planned for February, even though it is a short month. A few things planned are a Valentine’s Day party. We have a few craft projects that look like fun.

We hope everyone has had a good week. We have kept busy with our visits and daily activities. I can’t believe that January is almost over. Time to start thinking of a February calendar I guess.

Dear Dave, We just started teaching our seven-year-old about money. He’s very eager to learn, and he seems to be grasping the basic ideas quickly. He’s young, though, and of course he makes mistakes from time to time.
