Mullen 4th grader Duke Miller had an early birthday surprise last Thursday, Nov. 30 when Flip Licking’s Stable Productions’ reindeer showed up at school to visit. Duke is pictured holding his sign, “Happy 10th Birthday ‘Deer’ Duke” with his classmates.
While they were in town every class at the elementary school got to visit the reindeer, then they walked up to the high school before visiting Lori Freeze’s Lots of Love Day Care. Young and old enjoyed seeing the reindeer around town. A big thank you to Flip Licking and Bryan Miller for their time.
If you missed the reindeers’ visit to town, they will be at Lori Freeze’s Lots of Love Day Care (404 NW 1st St) during Mullen’s Walkabout this Friday, Dec. 8 from 3:00-5:00 p.m.
