Hooker County Transit has a new second set of wheels, a black 2026 Chrysler Pacifica, thanks to a $40,000 grant from the Mid-Nebraska Community Foundation Bob & Susan Childers Betterment Grant. Hooker County Transit also used $2,675 out of their fund through the Hooker County Community Foundation for running boards and rubber mats for both the 2025 and the 2026 minivans. Both vans are often on the road with drivers Artis Hicks, Doug Boyer or Mary Lou Harding (pictured above, l-r). Remember Hooker County Transit is for everyone!
