After nearly two and a half years as 93 Co. Pet Resort, KoKo’s Palace for Pampered Pets is back.
Jaci Edis closed 93 Co. Pet Resort on April 30, and new operator Bella Garza opened KoKo’s Palace for Pampered Pets back up on May 6 with Cindy Pearman mentoring her.
When Edis announced she was closing the dog grooming and boarding business, Pearman had several people reach out to her about wanting to take it over.
Bella is a 2022 Mullen High School graduate and the daughter of Xavier and Connie Garza of Seneca. After attending Chadron State College for a year and a half, she had worked some at Ewoldt’s Grocery and Roadside Inn both in Thedford when this opportunity opened up. Pearman said Garzas had actually been interested in taking over KoKo’s back in 2021 when she retired the first time.
KoKo’s Palace for Pampered Pets will be open from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m. seven days a week, providing doggie day care, boarding, grooming and retail items including homemade treats.

The public is invited to KoKo’s Palace for Pampered Pets’ open house all day on Saturday, May 18. Stop in and meet Bella and sample treats for humans and pets!
