Mullen’s Mildred Starr, pictured at Zion National Park, celebrated her 90th birthday with an RV trip in September with her son Tom and his wife Rebecca as they went to 11 National Parks and 2 State Parks. They logged 3,000 miles on the motorhome camper and 1,000 miles on the car sightseeing. They took around 3,000 photos all-told! (Tom says they took one photo/mile traveled - haha - he's a 'numbers guy.')
During the first week of the RV trip, Tom kept informing Mildred that the most scenic location to get a picture with the Tribune would be Bryce Canyon National Park, and they burst out laughing when they arrived early morning to Bryce Canyon being fogged in.
The fog did burn off, and Bryce Canyon is breath-taking.
