Della Haesler lived in North Pole, Alaska, in her early 20's and worked lumberjacks and fought wildland fire with the state of Alaska in Denali one summer. She took her youngest daughters, Margaret and Grace - and fur baby Ralph - to visit the area.

Teal Peterson unwrapped a pair of hiking boots for his 10th birthday last March to find out that he was headed on his first backcountry backpacking trip in the summer with his Uncle Colby and Aunt Amanda Osborn and his dad, Dane (oh, and dogs Dakota and Mica). They spent a few days fly fishing in the Wind River Range of Wyoming.
