Catholic Women’s Spring Assembly

Highway project around Merritt

A highway widening and resurfacing project is underway on Highway 97 around Merritt Reservoir State Recreation Area. Visitors can expect delays.The Nebraska Department of Transportation is working on the 5-mile stretch from Merritt Dam Road to Snake River Road.

Mullen Book Club

Nebraska Vietnam Veterans Memorial

On June 6, 2024, the Nebraska Vietnam Veterans Memorial will hold its grand opening in Papillion. This statewide memorial honors the 396 Nebraska military personnel who were Killed In Action (KIA) during the Vietnam War, as well as an additional four sailors from the USS Evans.

Hooker County GOP Convention held

Tuesday, March 12 at the Village Meeting Room the Hooker County GOP Convention was held with 12 attendees present. The evening started off with good food and two keynote speakers.
