Extension Educator • First, pick a large, firm, healthy amaryllis bulb. • Choose a container that is only 1 to 2 inches wider around than the bulb. Choose a potting mix that is light and drains water well. •Place the bulb in the container with the bulb covered half-way with the potting mix.

Mullen EMT class begins Jan. 8

The Mullen Ambulance Service will be offering an EMT class in Mullen beginning Monday, Jan. 8. The class will be administered by Panhandle EMS and will be the first time a hybrid course of its kind will be offered in Mullen.

United Women in Faith hold meeting

United Women in Faith met Wednesday afternoon, Nov. 15 in the senior high room of the church with four members present. President Sue Bonesteel opened the meeting asking for concerns. She gave prayer as a thank you to God for His work in our lives and in us always.
