Girl Scouts complete 300 Pocket Flags for troops overseas

by Sooky Marks Fifth and sixth grade Girl Scouts recently finished a Pocket Flag project, where they folded 300 small flags and put them in small baggies. These were then mailed to Lincoln to be distributed to troops as they are deployed overseas.

Mobile food pantry

A drive through mobile food pantry will be in Mullen on Saturday, May 13 from 9-10:30 a.m. at the Hooker County Fairgrounds. Everyone is welcome - no documentation needed. Call the Mullen Assembly of God at 308-546-2253 with any questions. This event is sponsored by Food Bank for the Heartland.
