Bob and Peggy Marsh attended the Overton track meet with Jeri Edis Tuesday to cheer on Jenna Marsh of Axtell. There they were able to visit with Jenna’s mom, Jennifer Marsh. Tuesday evening, the Marshes attended Mullen’s spring music program to watch grandkids, Hadley and Kyler, perform.

by Jordyn Phipps Last Sunday, Gary and Marg Little of Kearney came to visit Goldie Little. Justin Moore, Kaleb, Taylor and Logan, also joined them that afternoon for dinner. They enjoyed a delicious roast dinner together prepared by Goldie.

Village residents to be surveyed

The Village of Mullen is currently conducting a Comprehensive Planning Program, including preparing a new Comprehensive Plan and Community Housing Study that will document both the present and future needs of the community for the next 10 years.

End of year party/program held for Joy Club

by Alice Lutes What a beautiful evening in Mullen last Wednesday, April 12 as a party/program was held to close Joy Club for the summer at the Assembly of God Church. The Joy Club sang and acted out two of the Bible stories we had studied.
Lillian Ericksen, daughter of Marc and Alicia Ericksen, and Avery Vinton, daughter of Kevin and Callie Vinton, celebrated their First Communion during Mass at St Mary’s, Mullen, on April 16 with Father Matthew Nash presiding.
