by Gerri Peterson Since December, Mullen’s Sandhills Motel has had a new manager in Ashley Schiernbeck. They just moved into the motel last week, so it is extra official now! Ashley considers Omaha to be her hometown, but she attended high school in Grand Island.

Data shows 10% of drivers are distracted

Lincoln – The NDOT Highway Safety Office used new digital technology to measure the number of distracted drivers in Nebraska. Results showed that 1 in 10 drivers you meet on the road are not looking where they are driving, but instead are focusing on a cell phone or other device!

Braden Storer, a 2011 graduate of Mullen High School, is joining Love Justice International as their Anti-Trafficking Legal Advisor. He will be speaking about this ministry at Sandhills Community Bible Church on Sunday, Feb. 5 at the 10 a.m. service. The public is welcome to attend both the 10 a.m.
