Historical Society holds meeting

The Hooker County Historical Society met Thursday, Nov. 17, 2022. The meeting in the Old Hotel/Museum was called to order at 7:00 p.m. by president Ken Clark.

History Nebraska Awards now open

Lincoln - History Nebraska is now accepting nominations for their 2023 History Nebraska Awards. Nominations are now being accepted at https://history. nebraska.gov/awards and must be received by Dec. 31st, 2022.

South Cherry

Bob and Peggy Marsh shared their Thanksgiving dinner with Wade, Jeri, Jaci and Lane Edis at Jaci’s home. Saturday, Wade, Hadley and Kyler Marsh came to the ranch to work cattle and following joined Bob and Peggy for lunch.

Mullen News

Hope everyone had a wonderful Thanksgiving holiday! Charlotte Hoatson was able to spend Thanksgiving with Ty, Chelsea and kids. She had a wonderful time and even came home with a few extra germs, which she is trying to rest off.

South Hooker

Mick and Midge Harding enjoyed a visit from their granddaughter, Shaylen Ferguson, of Omaha. Shaylen is a teacher in Omaha; they were sure happy she was able to make it out a few days to visit.
