Sandhills NSDAR Chapter meets

8th annual Sandhills Fly-In held at Dismal River airstrip

The Terry Vinton Memorial 8th annual Sandhills Fly-In took place last Saturday, Sept. 10 at the Dismal River airstrip. The American Legion served breakfast and a silent auction was held, with proceeds going to the Terry Vinton Memorial High School Scholarship Fund for Mullen High School graduates.

Free farm/ranch clinic

A free September farm finance clinic for farmers and ranchers and their families will be held in Valentine on Tuesday, Sept. 20. The clinic is confidential, one-on-one sessions with an experienced ag law attorney and ag finance counselor. These clinics have been offered in Nebraska since 1989.

Mullen News

Tony and Ann Little and family, Nolan and Laura Little, Emryk, Arlo, Leela and Orrin, Ryan and Kayla Little, Treyton, Talon and Tinslee all of Kearney came Saturday afternoon to visit Goldie Little. They went canoeing down the Loup River Sunday. Some of them met them at the bridge with lunch.
