Mullen Book Club to discuss “City of Girls” next month

The Mullen Book Club will be discussing “City of Girls” by Elizabeth Gilbert on Wednesday, Sept. 21 at 6:00 p.m. on the courthouse lawn. If the weather doesn’t cooperate, they will meet at the Mullen Arts Center. Copies of the book are available at the Hooker County Library. Come join us!

by Gerri Peterson The Mullen Swimming Pool wrapped up another season this past weekend. Pictured are some of the older kids who enjoyed the Night Swim last Friday, Aug. 19. Twenty-six family passes were purchased this summer, five two-person passes and five one-person passes.
