Mullen Book Club to discuss “City of Girls” next month

The Mullen Book Club will be discussing “City of Girls” by Elizabeth Gilbert on Wednesday, Sept. 21 at 6:00 p.m. on the courthouse lawn. If the weather doesn’t cooperate, they will meet at the Mullen Arts Center. Copies of the book are available at the Hooker County Library. Come join us!

Mullen Arts Center to host Open Show

by Nicole Hoffmann Calling all artists and photographers! The Mullen Arts Center is hosting its 8th Annual Open Art & Photo Show from Sept. 7 - Oct. 1, 2022. This show is open to youth and adults. Adults are considered to be ages 14 and up.

Night Swims help close pool for season

by Gerri Peterson The Mullen Swimming Pool wrapped up another season this past weekend. Pictured are some of the older kids who enjoyed the Night Swim last Friday, Aug. 19. Twenty-six family passes were purchased this summer, five two-person passes and five one-person passes.
