Sherron Sullivan wins $100 in Shop Local Poker Run

During the month of July, the Tribune sponsored the 5th Annual Shop Local Poker Run for a chance to win $100 cash. Players had to spend at least $10 at participating Mullen businesses to get a card. Poker hands had to have one card from five different businesses.

Sharilyn Bader went to an all class reunion in Murdo, South Dakota, on Friday, Saturday and Sunday. They all enjoyed the visiting and catching up on everyone’s news. Karen Juzenas of Creighton spent the weekend with her dad and had church services at Mullen and Hyannis.

Textile pieces needed for Arts Center

The Mullen Arts Center will have a textile exhibit during the month of August. We are now accepting entries! There is no entry fee, and pieces do not have to be for sale. We are looking for any type of textile art: quilts, lap blankets, wall hangings, rugs, coasters, table runners, etc.
