Dear Editor, Well, our Village board is at it again. On Monday, Jan. 12, 2026, I received a phone call, “They are stealing your car.” Yes they did steal my 1972 LTD. The plates on it are good till March 2026, and yes it will run. I drove it in its parking spot four times before I made it stay.

Hooker County Clerk and Treasurer are alerting residents and businesses that they should plan ahead when submitting time-sensitive mail following a recent clarification by the United States Postal Service (USPS) regarding postmarking practices.
