Joy Club will reconvene on Wednesday, Jan. 12 in the basement of the Assembly of God Church in Mullen beginning right after school until 5:00 p.m.

The Sandhill Libertarian Party of Nebraska, which includes Hooker, Keith, Lincoln, Logan, McPherson, Perkins and Thomas counties, meets monthly on the third Saturday of every month.

Thirty-six units of blood were donated at the Sandhills Community Bible Church on Monday, Jan. 3, which included two first time donors and three power red donations. We were eight units over our goal.
The General Unit of the United Methodist Women met Wednesday noon, Dec. 15 in the fellowship hall of the church for Christmas luncheon. Seven members were present.
Cards were signed for those in concern. A sheet was passed to sign for giving programs in 2022.
“Elfie” went with Sharilyn Bader many places throughout the last month. He joined the Sandhills Community Bible Church ladies and guests at Pat Edis’ home for a Christmas luncheon.
The Mullen Book Club is now reading “Zoo Nebraska” by Carson Vaughan. They will meet on Wednesday, Jan. 19, at 6 p.m. at the Mullen Arts Center to discuss it. Please bring an appetizer or drink to share. Everyone is welcome! Copies of the book are available at the Hooker County Library.
