8-20-2021 What a difference just one week makes. Last week I wrote about how quickly US Afghanistan policy was collapsing. The Taliban were reported fighting about ten miles from Kabul when I wrote this update last week. Now they are sitting in the Afghan President’s office.

Beginning American Sign Language course

North Platte - North Platte Community College will offer a Beginning American Sign Language class next month. Sessions are scheduled for 6-7:30 p.m. CT on Wednesdays, Sept. 1-Oct. 27. Students in the class will learn about and practice American Sign Language.

Input wanted on Buffalo Bill draft master plan

Lincoln - The Nebraska Game and Parks Commission is seeking input on a draft master plan being developed to improve Buffalo Bill Ranch State Historical Park and State Recreation Area in North Platte.
