Bob and Peggy Marsh left Friday, June 4 for Camdenton, Missouri, for the wedding of a great-niece Kyley Simmons, who is Phyllis Eberl’s granddaughter, to Seth Bachard.

Local women on UNMC Board of Counselors

The University of Nebraska Medical Center Board of Counselors recently held its annual meeting, naming new officers, welcoming 12 new members and reappointing others who continue to serve.

4-H Entomology workshop June 18

A 4-H Entomology workshop will be held on June 18 from 10:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m. CT at the Thomas County Fairgrounds in Thedford. You must be in 4-H to attend - ages 9-18 are welcome. Bring a sack lunch. Wear shoes so that you will be able to hike in rough terrain, sunscreen and insect repellant.

General Unit of United Methodist Women hold meeting

The General Unit of the United Methodist Women met Wednesday afternoon, May 19th in the senior high room of the church with seven members present. President Sue Bonesteel opened the meeting. The theme song, “Trust and Obey” was sung and the scripture and purpose were given.
