Wanda Lousberg of Sterling, Colorado, spent a few days last week with her father Roger French. Jerry and Tonya French of Rawlins, Wyoming, spent two hours at Roger’s on Saturday. Anne and Courtney Kauk of Castle Rock, Colorado, were here a few days last week.

The Mullen Joy Club held their closing program last Wednesday afternoon, April 14. Everyone enjoyed the songs and pantomimes presented by the kids. The program was followed with a supper and a time of fellowship and each child attending received a prize. Alice Lutes

Lattins win NPCC Foundation Auction House

Paul and Percilla Lattin, of Mullen, are the winners of the North Platte Community College Foundation Auction House. The Lattin’s submitted the winning bid of $236,500 for the student-built home. The amount was a record high.

ANAC show on display at Mullen Arts Center

The Mullen Arts Center’s annual Association of Nebraska Art Clubs show is on display through April 30. The Arts Center is open Wednesday, Thursday and Friday 10 a.m. - 4 p.m. and by appointment. The show was judged by Joan Swim, artist and instructor from Springview.

Alumni donations, addresses needed

Plans are underway for this summer’s Mullen High School Alumni gathering - for Double the Fun in 2021! Activities are planned for Friday-Sunday, June 11-13. In the plans are bounce houses for the kids, which the Alumni Association is requesting donations for to help rent.

Chuckwagon ‘n Jug to host steak nights

Beginning this Saturday evening, April 17th, the Chuckwagon will be hosting a “Steak Nite - Hot off the Grill” from 5–8 p.m. You will be able to pick from two different steak choices with all the fixins! Gregg will be on the Traeger making them just the way you like.
