Hooker County 4-Hers compete at Nebraska State Fair

This graphic from www.usps.com/service-standards/ for periodicals being mailed from 69152 shows the western half of Nebraska and parts of South Dakota, Wyoming, Colorado and Kansas should be getting their Tribune in 4 days. But with Sundays not counting, that means 4 days could mean not until Monday. The rest of the nation - including the eastern half of Nebraska has an even longer service standard.

Mobile Pantry to be here Sept. 3

Food Bank for the Heartland will host a free Mobile Pantry in Mullen on Wednesday, Sept. 3 from 3:30 to 5:30 p.m., or until food runs out. The mobile pantry will take place at the Hooker County Fairgrounds, located at 36531 Fairgrounds Road.

36 units donated at Mullen blood drive
