Mullen EMS served the public supper last Thursday, July 31, to show their appreciation for all of the donations they received to purchase the new ambulance. The ambulance also has a lift that will allow the EMTs to not only load patients with less people, but can also lift up to 700 pounds.

It was the biggest turnout yet for Bingo following the Lions Club taco feed last Wednesday, July 30 during the Hooker County Fair!Fifteen rounds of various games of Bingo were played, with the last round being blackout for the grand prize of $50.1. Regular Bingo - Arthur Polt, kid’s prize2.
After several years of a hiatus, the Melodrama made a roaring comeback to the Hooker County Fair last Tuesday, July 29. “Prairie Pies Pandemonium” was not only directed by Mullen’s Kyler Horn - but also written by her!! She also wrote the youth Melodrama “Corn Dog Catastrophe” that was performed first. Pictured is Malia Oltmer playing Dotty McCracken. Gerri Peterson
