Scholarships available for Nebraska Women in Ag Conference

The Nebraska Women in Agriculture Conference is set to return for its annual two-day event, dedicated to educating and uplifting women involved in all aspects of Nebraska’s agricultural industry. This year’s conference is the 40th anniversary and will take place February 20–21 in Kearney, Nebraska.

Local women attend Family & Community Education conference

The Nebraska Family and Community Education conference was held at Springview, Nebraska, September 19-21, 2024. Winnie Cooley and Lois Folk were among the 24 persons in attendance. They stayed the two nights in a unit of the Hiland House from a small business of housing.

D Boot & Tack open for business in Seneca

Former Stapleton resident Joe Downing is back in the boot and tack shop business in Seneca.Downing recently purchased the entire inventory of Jay’s Western Wear from Jay and Carla Wardrobe in Gandy. With an enclosed 40’ trailer, he will be traveling to various sites this summer.
