Pioneer Memorial Rest Home
We hope everyone has had a great week. We have been keeping busy with our activities and inside visits. We have also been taking advantage of this beautiful weather and have been enjoying sitting outside.
On Monday the staff again helped me out so I could go watch Corynn at District golf. Thank you so much, I appreciate you all. They did some exercises and one on one visits with several residents.
Tuesday morning we read an article on full moon nicknames. It was very interesting. We thought since we have two full moons this month we would do a little reading about them. Those out to listen were Nadene Andersen, Kathleen Miles, Wanda Mackley, Deb Minor, Sharon Carson, Marty Boyer, Minnie Mary Hamilton and Mary Kemp. That afternoon Stan Boyer, Doris Griffith, Sharon C., Deb, Kathleen and I took advantage of the patio and enjoyed the beautiful weather.
Wednesday I got to pamper a few residents for hands alive. That afternoon Sharon C., Deb, Minnie Mary, Marty, Kathleen, Wanda and I enjoyed reading embarrassing stories from ranch and farm wives. Some of the stories the ladies could relate to.
Thursday Stan, Ann Connell, Nadene, Wanda, Florence Cooper, Deb and Sharon C. enjoyed playing Bingo. Bob was the blackout winner.
Friday morning we enjoyed current events. Those who came out to catch up on the news were Kathleen, Nadene, Deb, Patsy Berney, Twila Springer, Sharon C., Minnie Mary and Marty. That afternoon we had some very special visitors doing a window visit. We would like to thank Ms. Brown and Mrs. Zimmerman, along with their students, for making window and door decorations and for bringing them up and doing a little parade outside. We appreciate you all for thinking of us and you guys really made our day. That is another thing that they miss are the kids coming up to visit. So thank you, you all did a very good job.
Saturday I called numbers for Bingo with Stan, Ann, Nadene, Florence, Bob, Deb and Sharon all out to play. Nadene was the blackout winner that afternoon.

Virginia Wright enjoyed visiting with her daughter Cindy Pearman.
Richard Broyles had visits from his two daughters, Marilyn Wright and Kathy Nunn.
Kathleen Miles enjoyed her visits with Marian Nutter and Matt Miles.
Wanda enjoyed seeing Mark Nutter, Connie Moser and Linda Nutter.
Minnie Mary had a nice visit with her sister Rita Teahon and her brother and sister-in-law Bill and Diane Hardy.
Sherry Forbes enjoyed seeing her daughter Missy Holt.
Ann Connell had a nice visi with her daughter Pat Schwaderer.
Stan Boyer’s brothers Ron Boyer and Doug Boyer were here for a visit. Darrell and Kathy Leibhart were also visitors.
Mary Kemp enjoyed her visits with Duane McNutt and Patty Kemp.
Nadene Andersen enjoyed her visits with Dean Andersen and Terri.
Twila Springer’s husband Steve Springer came and visited with her.
Jerry and Sharon Carson’s visitors were Leah Carson and Becky Carson.
