It’s that time of year! The deadline for the Beef Issue, which will be published Thursday, May 20, is FRIDAY, MAY 7.
Anyone who has a story (or story idea) and/or beef photo of anything related to ranching is encouraged to submit it to the Tribune! This could include, but is not limited to:
• The good, the bad, the ugly, the unusual of ranch life and everyday operations
• Personal accounts of family members who were ranchers or rancher’s spouses
• Memories of ranch hands, ranch cooks, top cattlemen, etc.
• Unique features in your ranching operation
• Raising today’s children who will be the future of ranching
• What it is like to retire after a lifetime of ranching
• How selling cattle has changed over the years
Once again, the Tribune is also having an agriculture photo contest for this issue. Enter your agriculture related photo for a chance to win a free year subscription to the Tribune. Calving, branding, haying and just everyday life in the Nebraska Sandhills provides great photo opportunities. Email photos to tribune@nebnet.net or drop them off at the office to enter.
