In preparation for Memorial Day, Mullen Commercial Club is organizing a day to spruce up the Mullen cemetery. With the regular caretaker recovering from surgery, he will not be able to accomplish the necessary tasks before the holiday.
The beautification project is Sunday, May 23. We will begin at 9 a.m. and lunch will be provided. Please feel free to come and go as your schedule allows.
If any organizations or persons are looking to fulfill volunteer hours, this is a great opportunity! Please bring your weed eaters, trowels, shovels, gloves and buckets.
