A Memorial Day weekend sunset service will be held on Sunday, May 29 at Dry Valley Church at 7:00 p.m. Pastor Ben Hart will give the message.
The church is located 14 miles north of Mullen on Highway 97, then 3 miles west.
Mullen’s Memorial Day program will be Monday, May 30 at 10:00 a.m. at the Lariat. The final salute and the canteen will be at the Cedarview Cemetery right after the program.
The Hooker County Historical Society Old Hotel will be open on Monday following the program until 2:00 p.m. Stop in and view the veteran’s memorial photo display and browse the museum.
