Mullen’s Cedarview Cemetery roads are in need of some TLC, but unfortunately that comes with a bid over $121,700.
Shelco Asphalt and Paving has been the only company to get back to the cemetery board with a bid over several years.
Cedarview Cemetery Board members include Bonnie Hilderhoff - president, Don Younkin - vice-president, Kendra Thorberg - secretary, Jill Buchfinck - treasurer and Mary Jane Younkin and Carol Wright - members at large.
Due to the cemetery not being a 501(c)(3), their options for funding the project through grants are limited, so they are reaching out to the public to ask for donations. They currently only have about $20,000 that they could use on the roads.
