A flock of flamingos has been located in Mullen, landing in various yards throughout town and roosting for the night. The flock is expected to be here all summer. As a fundraiser for National FCCLA in Seattle, Washington, the Mullen qualifiers are moving the flamingos.
If you are concerned about the flock landing in your yard, there’s still time to get insurance to protect your yard!
Basic insurance: $20 - FCCLA members won’t flock your yard
Full Coverage: $30 - FCCLA members won’t flock your yard AND no one can pay to choose you as their “Flock a Friend”
Flock a Friend: $20 - You pick a yard to be flocked
Don’t forget this is all for fun. Proceeds go to the Mullen FCCLA National qualifiers: Jadyn Andersen, Fayth Brown, Kyle Finney, Riley Hegland, Corynn Corbin and Maci Walz.
