For a month now the Mullen churches and Mullen High School’s National Honor Society students have been delivering meals to senior citizens in Mullen.
This free delivery service allows residents to order the noon special at Red’s Cafe Monday-Friday and have it delivered to their house.
To order, call Red’s at 308-546-2270 by 10:30 a.m. and ask for a delivery meal.
The noon specials vary, but fried chicken is always the Friday special at Red’s. No meals will be delivered on holidays.
In order to utilize this service, senior citizens must first pre-pay at Red’s.
Meals will be delivered after 11:15 a.m. Monday-Friday.
