After several years of a hiatus, the Melodrama made a roaring comeback to the Hooker County Fair last Tuesday, July 29. “Prairie Pies Pandemonium” was not only directed by Mullen’s Kyler Horn - but also written by her!! There were plenty boos and hisses for Cayden Hampton’s character Mortimer Vile. But Ma Butterfield (Kim Cooley) really taught him a lesson with pie in his face! Also pictured is Deputy Clem played by Tate Kvanvig.
Prior to the Melodrama, the Hooker County Fair Pie Contest was held, with the results being announced following the Melodrama.
