  • Last December, Garrett Cox - Mullen, Pete Swanson - Del Rapids, S.D., Dox Cox - Mullen and Chris Bressler - Lake Benton, Minn., headed to Big Lake Alaska, targeting spawning native Artic char. There are less than 20 places in the world where native char exist, with only a handful of those places realistically accessible on ice. It was a lifetime trip, with all of them catching multiple char, plus other species like burbot and rainbow trout.
