Michael Lee Moody, age 59, from Purdum, Nebraska, passed away Oct. 2, 2022, near Halsey, Nebraska, after succumbing to a medical emergency while in the line of duty fighting fire. Services were held Friday, Oct. 7, 2022, in Dunning at the Sandhills High School.
