Jolene Carol LaBore, of Maxwell, Nebraska, formerly of Mullen, Nebraska, passed away at her home on July 23, 2024, at the age of 69. Jolene was born to Robert “Bob” Eugene and Betty Joan (Adam) Pearman on May 14, 1955, in North Platte, as the second of three children.

Donald Newell Baker, Sr., passed away at Good Samaritan Hospital in Kearney, Nebraska, July 5, 2024.He was born Dec. 19, 1933, three and a half miles east of Purdum, Nebraska, in his grandad Sam White’s house, to Doran Nolan and Blanche Elizabeth (White) Baker.

Marjorie Pearson, age 85, of Mullen passed away July 1, 2024, at her home in Mullen, Nebraska.Funeral services were held July 5, 2024, at the Methodist Church in Mullen with Rev.Juzenas officiating. Burial was in the Cedarview Cemetery at Mullen.

John Mac Jones was born on May 4, 1938, the second child of Boyd and Mary (Keller) Jones, in Hyannis, Nebraska.In 1947, he moved to Colby, Kansas, with his parents, one sister, Marjorie Ann, and two brothers, Robert Boyd and William Howard. The Jones family moved back to Hyannis in 1952.
