Last Wednesday, April 30 was the annual race of the cardboard boats. Juniors in Earth Science and seniors in Standards Science were challenged with engineering a two passenger boat made of only cardboard and one roll of duct tape. Mullen High School Principal Mr. Kvanvig (pictured above right), after being unable to make it across in his boat last year, attempted the challenge again with passenger Mullen Elementary Principal Mr. Mauler. They were unsuccessful... but Mr. Kvanvig had found the perfect suits for them to wear!
