Mullen FCCLA is pleased to announce that we will be hosting our annual quarter one food drive at MHS; however, this year has the potential to be especially special since we are opening it up to the community! A donation box will be located at the hig school until noon on Tuesday, Oct. 19th. All donations (shelf stable items, toiletries, etc.) will go to the Mullen Food Pantry, located in the basement of the Assembly of God Church.
Examples of items needed by the Mullen Food Pantry include: cream of mushroom soup, cream of chicken soup, cereal, mac-n-cheese, crackers, jello, pudding, canned fruit, Spaghetti O’s, salt and pepper, fruit snacks, ketchup, mustard, microwave popcorn, baking mixes, maple syrup, taco seasoning, chili beans, tomato paste and sauce, salad dressings, dish soap, toothpaste, laundry detergent, etc.
To make a donation, simply stop at MHS between 7:30 a.m. and 4:00 p.m. and leave your shelf stable items in the box labeled “FCCLA Food Drive”. Mullen FCCLA thanks everyone in advance for your donations!
