In science, the 2nd grade students recently learned how seeds must get away from their parent plant in order to survive. Students created model seeds from paper. Then, they released the seeds to model how they disperse and observed if any seeds are able to escape the parent plant’s “Zone of Darkness” and survive. Emily Brown
