Mullen High School will host the MNAC speech meet this Saturday, Feb. 25, beginning at 8 a.m. The public is invited to come support the students!
The MHS speech team has competed at some large meets this season, competing against Class A schools with 30-45 competitors in each event.
Their results so far this season have been:
Words Have Power (North Platte) - Ashlyn Simonson 5th in Persuasive
Perkins Co. Invite - Ashlyn 7th in Persuasive
Gothenburg Invite - Ashlyn 5th in Persuasive and 7th in Entertainment
North Platte Blue & Gold - Sydnee Cheever 12th in Humorous
“We hope to continue our success in the upcoming meets and cannot wait to see what districts have in store for us,” Speech Coach Kyler Horn said.
