Rare flamingo species to arrive

A flock of flamingos is projected to land in Mullen during the months of May, June and July. As a fundraiser for National FCCLA in Orlando, Florida, the Mullen qualifiers are moving the flamingos nightly.

Pizza with the Principal is a reward for six Mullen Elementary School students, featuring one student from each grade level. This is the Mullen Elementary School’s version of “student of the month.”Each grade level will have one award winner each month.

The MHS sophomores are doing well testing with a program through the University of Nebraska-Lincoln called Know Your Well that educates students on the health of our aquifer. They sam pled water from two local wells last Wednesday.

Juniors in Earth Science and seniors in Standards Science were challenged with engineering a two passenger boat made of only cardboard and one roll of duct tape. MHS wins MNAC Art Show, JH places 3rd
