Lady Broncos improve to 10-4

by Gerri Peterson The Lady Broncos got two more wins at home last week.First they defeated Twin Loup 75-24 on Tuesday, Jan. 20, with every Lady Bronco in the stats.Hayley Donohoe led the ladies with 21 points, 7 rebounds, 5 steals and 1 block.

Wolves and Mustangs are too much for Broncos

by Gerri Peterson The Mullen Bronco boys basketball team had two tough games last week at home.First they hosted the D1 Twin Loup Wolves on Tuesday, Jan. 20, a team with only two losses on the season so far.

First competition for Mullen Marksmen

The Mullen Bronco boys basketball team went 1-1 last week.They first defeated Arthur County in Mullen Thursday, Jan. 15, 44-23.Jacob Walker led the Broncos with 16 points, 5 rebounds, 5 steals and 3 assists.Ben Werner had 11 points, 5 rebounds, 2 steals and 1 assist.

Lady Broncos are MNAC wrestling champions

Last week the Lady Bronco wrestling team competed in Grant on Tuesday, Jan. 13.Audrabell Werth placed 2nd at 100. She pinned Harlyn Bolek (Mitchell) in 1:44 and was then pinned in 1:27 by Capri Sayer (Southwest).Georgia Wingebach placed 3rd at 130.
