Cross country places 3rd in McCook

On Thursday, Sept. 20 the Bronco cross country team traveled to Heritage Hills Golf Course in McCook.It was a very successful day for the high school and junior high runners. Although it was an extremely hilly course, the team endured through and overcame the hills.

Lady Broncos end busy week 7-5

The Mullen Lady Broncos went 1-1 at the volleyball triangular in Sutherland last Tuesday, Sept. 17.Against Sutherland they lost in three sets, 25-23, 22-25 and 12-25.

Broncos run away with Homecoming victory

The Mullen Broncos scored 20 points in the first quarter of their Homecoming football game last Friday, Sept. 20, against Brady and never looked back, defeating the Eagles 47-8.“The guys showed up and took care of business against Brady,” Head Coach Wade Marsh said.

With a 9:00 a.m. leave time last Friday, the Mullen Bronco football team’s day was all football as they made the trek to Bassett for a 1:00 p.m. kickoff against the North Central Knights (Bassett and Springview).

On Thursday, Sept. 12, 2024, the Mullen cross country team traveled to Imperial, Nebraska. It was a successful day for the junior high and high school runners. Although it was a very windy day, Mullen made their appearance known and represented Mullen well.

The Lady Broncos improved to 5-2 last Saturday, Sept. 14 when they became the runners-up at the Seven Valleys Tournament. The Broncos defeated Medicine Valley and Paxton both in two sets before facing D1 Brady in the championship game.Against Medicine Valley, the set scores were 25-15 and 25-20.
