This week marks the beginning of the second half of the 108th Legislative session, which officially begins on Wednesday, January 3. The first few days are reserved for bill introduction, as well as the Rules Committee’s consideration of proposed rule changes.

There are two types of people - spenders and savers. I’ve been a saver my entire life. I despise spending full price on anything and budgeting is my jam. I also enjoy cooking and baking, so it’s no surprise that I love the grocery store sale flier.

With the session just a couple of weeks away, I want to update you on a couple of topics I intend to work on this year. First, I met with the health insurance providers late last week regarding LB32 (MediGap) and we agreed on amendment language to move this bill ahead.
