Dear Dave, My wife and I are expecting our first child in a couple of weeks. I bring home $35,000 a year teaching at a local high school, and she just completed her master’s degree in speech therapy.

Dear Dave, My dad passed away about a year ago, but he left my mom in really good shape financially. They never had any consumer debt, the house is paid for, and they had about $1 million in assets. Dad also left her a $500,000 trust. Mom is going to be 60 next year.

Greetings everyone. We hope you have had a great week. It’s so crazy that this is the last week of July. Where did the summer go? I hope you enjoy the news. I lost my list of who came out for what, so I will try my best to remember. Monday morning I had a small group out for kickball.

Update from Senator Tom Brewer, 43rd District

7-16-2021 We are in “the interim” on the Legislative calendar. It is that time between legislative sessions. Most Senators have jobs, farms, ranches and businesses to attend to. It’s time to go home and reconnect with family too. It’s important to remember we have a parttime citizen legislature.

Happenings on the Hill

Greetings to all! We hope you have had a great week. We have kept busy with our usual activities. Monday morning I had some one-on-one exercises and walking with several different residents. That afternoon Ann Connell, Deb Minor, Nadene Andersen, Wanda Mackley and I played a game called Name 5.
