Warrior Bonfire Program visits Nebraska Sandhills

The Warrior Bonfire exists to serve Purple Heart recipients exclusively, providing fully funded, peer-led outdoor retreat experiences across the country. Skiing, hunting, fishing, scuba diving, rafting, and many more, all shared with others who have walked the same road. No cost to the veteran.

Caleb Furrow was the featured artist at the Mullen Arts Cen ter earlier this month, with a reception held Saturday, June 13. Caleb is a 2026 graduate of Callaway High School, and will be majoring in art at Hastings College this fall, as a part of the Jackson Honors Program.

Last week Mullen’s Methodist Church held their Vacation Bible School, with 42 kids taking part throughout the week. At “Shake It Up Cafe - Where Kids Carry Out God’s Recipe” they learned to be ready for God, give happily to God, believe fully in Jesus, remember Jesus often and celebrate God forever.
