Editor’s note: Geneva Connell of Tryon has been writing devotions for the past several years. Three years ago she published a book, “From My Pen to Your Heart.” She said a lot of times she wakes up in the middle of the night with thoughts for the devotions.

Mullen Book Club

The Mullen Book Club will meet next on Wednesday, April 17, at 6:00 p.m. at the Mullen Arts Center. Anyone is invited to come join the discussion any month!They will be discussing “Everything We Keep” by Kerry Lonsdale. Copies of the book are available at the Hooker County Library.

United Women in Faith hold meeting
