Omaha – The Aksarben Foundation, along with Nebraska Farm Bureau and the Nebraska Association of Fair Managers, announces that applications for the Nebraska Pioneer Farm and Nebraska Heritage Farm Awards are being accepted now through April 15, 2024.

Girl Scout Father/ Daughter Box Supper

The Mullen Girl Scout Father/ Daughter Box Supper was held on Monday, Jan. 29 with the girls arriving with their supper in some great boxes! Following supper, the girls and their dads competed in various Minute to Win It games.

Outstanding Weed Superintendant

Hooker County Weed Superintendent Devan Polt (pictured above, left) was recently presented an award for the Outstanding Weed Superintendent of Region II for 2023. Devan attended the 77th Annual Conference and Trade Show in Norfolk, Nebraska.
