Locals set U.S. record at Valentine Livestock sale barn

National Beef Wire reported that Valentine Livestock held a Special Feeder Sale last Thursday, April 9, that may go down as one of the greatest in barn history, setting 18 steer records and 7 national records.The sale was led by 172 head at 710 pounds bringing $468.

4-H Communications and Expressive Arts Contest held

The Thomas and Hooker County 4-H Communications and Expressive Arts Contest was held Monday, April 6 at the Bethel Assembly of God Church. There was a great showing of talent and public speaking skills from 13 4-H’ers!
