Nominate volunteers for Step Forward Awards

ServeNebraska is now accepting nominations for the 12th annual Step Forward Awards, the state’s highest honor recognizing volunteer service. These awards celebrate individuals and groups who strengthen Nebraska communities through service.

The North Platte Community College Departments of Theater and Music will join forces with the North Platte Community Theatre to present “Next to Normal” April 10, 11, 12, 16, 18 and 19.Showtimes will be 7:30 p.m. CT Thursday through Saturday and 2 p.m. CT Sunday.

Over 30 pre-school aged kids and younger participated in the Easter Egg Hunt on the courthouse lawn last Wednesday, April 1, and left with very full baskets and buckets! The event is sponsored by the Mullen Commercial Club, with assistance from Mullen High School’s National Honor Society members.
